Royal Family Kids Camp is a nationally known camp that helps with kids who have been abused, abandoned, and neglected.

Royal Family has over 250 camps in 40 different states as well as 8 international countries.

Rick Roberts and Sabrina Yaw started the first camp in 2006 after a person from California came and spoke at Crosspointe Church about all of the kids who were in foster care just in the local area.

They raised enough money to send 10 people to training and came back excited to start. They also talked to the community and congregation at church and were successful in energizing them.

Crosspointe decided they wanted to do it. They began the two-year process of being trained and equipped to host a camp.

The camp is designed for kids’ age 7-11 years old. After they turn 11 the kids have matured and are better served by gender specific camps called Teen Reach Adventure Camp.

Rick Roberts stepped down as director in 2015 and his son Trey Roberts has taken over as director.  To fund the camp they are completely on their own.

“We are responsible for raising 100% of our money for camp.  We have golf tournaments, letter campaigns, 5K run events, and a Community Send-a-kid-to camp day where businesses donate a portion of that day sales to our cause,” Trey said.
