OU students returned from spring break to find that the landscaping and facilities crew planted flowers around campus while they were gone, but it was a hot day.
The flowers and some grassy areas were doused in gallons of cold water to keep them fresh despite the 90 degree afternoon, almost matching the 92 degree Oklahoma heat record set 100 years ago.
